Want to save a YouTube thumbnail to your smartphone's camera roll? You don't need to download a sketchy app from the App Store. You can do it directly from your mobile browser.

- Tap "Copy Link".
- Open Safari (or Chrome) and go to savethumbnail.in.
- Paste the link into the box and tap "Extract Image".
- Scroll to the HD image. Tap and hold on the "Download" button or the image itself.
- Select "Save to Photos" from the menu that pops up.
How to Save to Gallery on Android
- Open the YouTube app, hit Share, and select "Copy Link".
- Open Chrome and visit savethumbnail.in.
- Paste the link and tap "Extract Image".
- Tap the "Download" button. The image will automatically save to your Downloads folder.
- Open your Gallery or Photos app to view it.
Why Use a Web Tool?
Apps take up storage space and often require permissions to access your contacts or location. A web-based tool like SaveThumbnail is safer, faster, and leaves no trace on your device once you close the tab.
